Never we never add nasties just real food! We believe in using ingredients you’d have in your own kitchen, so you’ll recognise every ingredient in our dishes. The freezer preserves our food the natural way so we don’t need preservatives anyway. We do use sometimes need to use store cupboard items such as sun dried tomatoes or soya sauce but we always highlight any additives etc used in the production of those.

All our meals can be cooked in the oven, and most of them can be cooked in the microwave. We highlight when we recommend using the oven for best results. Just follow the instructions on the outer packaging to achieve the best results.

All our meals can be cooked in the oven, from frozen. Just follow the instructions on the outer packaging. Our packaging is so clever it goes straight from the freezer to the oven – you can even eat out of them so no washing up!

All our dishes last over three months in the freezer, giving you extra flexibility and reducing any unnecessary food waste. We include best before dates on every dish, this is just a guide however to ensure you get the best taste. As everything is frozen it is still safe to eat after our recommended best before.

We pick/forage all of our fruit (and wild garlic!) locally on Exmoor and all of our vegetables come from our loved and local supplier – R&N Fruit & Veg in Dulverton. Wherever possible our meat comes from farms across Exmoor as we believe our local meat is the best in the world! We are always looking for new local suppliers and will continue to update our website.

Yes absolutely and we are expanding out retailers all the time. When you go to the checkout page and you enter your postcode it will tell you if you eligible for local free delivery which will mean you are near an outlet.

Delivery is free on orders of £60 or over. Unfortunately, we can’t cover the delivery cost for orders that come to less than that. Standard delivery and packaging is £10 for orders of under £60.

All our boxes are fully insulated, so they’ll keep your food frozen until later the same day. We can leave your box in a safe place or with a neighbour if you’re out but you will need to inform the delivery man.

You can! Our wool-lined boxes are sustainable, recyclable, compostable and biodegradable. The really great news is that if you send your wool liner back to us (we will even provide the envelope!) we will give you a thank you discount next time you order.

We use 100% sheep’s wool packaging, which keeps produce within the temperature ranges required by the Food Standard Agency (FSA). We use it to package up our frozen meals, as it’s the most efficient, sustainable option out there.

Yes! There are so many uses! Please do send them back to us though and we’ll send a big thank you discount for your next order

If you aren’t looking to reuse your wool packaging, simply remove the plastic outer layer – this can be put in with your standard plastic recycling. Then just put the wool liner into a compost bin (if available) or dig it into the soil in the garden. The sheep’s wool will release valuable nitrates back into the soil as it breaks down. If you do put them in the general waste they will break down super fast.
